key not covered
#1
Sad
Went to start car this morning and ignition key fell apart - so I collected up the bits and took them back to the place I brought the car from, less than 2 years ago, brand new, so still under warranty - no it isn't, it's not covered so I have to get replacement key for £212.00...WOT!!
So I have cable tied it back together and now the remote does not work but you can lock/unlock car with key manually, and it will start the car - but what a load of horseshit,

Go the ebay route. Citroen Services aren't interested in anything remotely to do with paying out money. This isn't the same Citroen that so many of us have fond memories of. This Citroen is a sub section of Peugeot and they are a big fat international money making machine. If you try and get something from them it will drag on so long you will eventually be sick to the back teeth of it. It will cost a few quid off the bay and a couple of minutes to do, job done.
