Knacked camshaft

Hi all

My 2010 110hp camshaft needs replacing all scored was making a terrible din. Gutted only done 29000 never missed a service.

I also have a 2010 110hp model that is currently on 52000 miles and mine has no scoring at all

If yours has scored at 29000 miles, I would have thought that something in the oil has gone through the system causing it to score
The next thing to ask yourself would be "what other damage is there internally"

The other option would be that there is some kind of oil starvation to the camshaft meaning metal on metal contact
