After running for some time with a rich mixture is it possible to de coke the engine using a additive in the fuel. I've read that such additives are harmful to the engine seals etc. and do not really work.
Some say Redex and some say WD40 squirted in to the plug holes but I'm a bit concerned about doing damage.
The Citroen specialist informed me today to add such additive to clean the coke out for about a month then the engine would run better.
I was thinking of giving the engine a engine flush and changing the oil.
What do people think.

Some additives do work and some don't.
Lots of people on here use Miller's as do I , and it does a good job.

If you can get it in OZ,I recommend Forte products.Redex can be used by applying through plug holes on 2 cyls at a time on TDC,on a hot engine.Leave overnight & blow excess out before fitting plugs & repeating on the other 2.BEWARE,I don't know if it will harm the cat.

Used Forte on my old Escort and it seemed to improve the performance, I've also used Millers additives over the years and they work.
So where does this bit go then ?
