Connecting a phone

Hi there,

I pick a 2011 berlingo lx on Friday, now the van does not come with bluetooth but did come with a plug in traffic master sat nav, when the salesmen was showing me how to resgiter the sat nav it made a call which came over the speakers, the van also has what looks like a microphone.

So I was thinking would anybody know if I got the right jack plug fitting would I be able to connect my phone?
