Hi all, been through the threads and can't find if anyone has successfully disabled this feature. I do a lot of camping and charge phone up etc also i work remotely and sometimes need to run stuff.
I am more than happy to take the chance of running down my battery. I have managed for the last 20 years not to get caught out.
I want a feed to head unit (aftermarket) amp all 12v sockets and internal lights so bypassing is not an option.
Please tell me this can be disabled.

Not that I'm aware of.
However if you have the modutop the sockets in the lockers are always live.
If not there's always the option of running a bypass and wiring your own live feeds direct to the battery.

Is it the ignition live for the head unit or switched live that cuts out?

Run a live straight from the battery connector in a decent size cable and take an accessory socket from it. Put a led light unit with it's own switch in the roof from it as well, shouldn't take too much doing.
So where does this bit go then ?

You can adjust the timer in some bsi's with lexia and make it way longer than it is from the factory
