I've noticed the few times I've driven the Berlingo from cold the glow plug warning icon doesn't light up. Is this normal in warm weather, or should I be investigating a potential problem?
It's a 2006MY 1.6HDi 75.
The only reason I ask is my 330d (yes, I now it's a totally different car.....) lights the glow plug icon every time the ignition is switched on.
TIA,
Stuart.

ALL the owner does is drive it and put fuel in.

the 1.6 HDI hardly uses its glow plugs to assist starting. It will only illuminate on very cold mornings, below zero, so what you describe is quite normal.

As above, glow plugs only kick in when very cold. I asked same question when I noticed mine didn't come on.
