[Steering & Suspension] Anti roll bar bushes
#1
Hi all,

If you have been following my progress with the repairs I have carried out then I have a further query for you.

Is it possible to change the anti roll bar bushes without removal of the A.R.B.

I notice on the new ones advertised that they have a split in them, so is this for easy replacement without removal of the bar.

Cheers pitpan

What were the symptoms that made you change them in the first place - I can't find the original thread! I'm having suspension horrors with my MK2 Hdi at present.

I'm just a grumpy Northern git.

I have not changed them yet but when I changed the Cat I noticed that they were worn along with the lower arm bushes & a power steering boot. So I am going to get them changed. The symptoms are a knocking sound plus a horrible grinding noise whenever I go over a sleeping policeman. If I can do the job myself I will but if not a mechanic friend of mine will help out.
