larger turbocharger
#1
I'm sure I've read it somewhere before, but for the I.6 hdi 90 bhp engine.
Wanting to know if possible to fit the bigger vns turbocharger from a 2.0 hdi onto the 1.6 hdi 75 bhp?
Any help be really aappreciated.

If you are talking about the Mk3 1.6 DHi 75hp, then this engine uses the same turbo as the 90hp version, the difference is a different ECU map

The 110hp version uses a VNT turbo to get the extra power

It's the face lift version of the mk1, so technically mk2 I have.
Got induction, exhaust and remap done.
Just wanting to see about uprating to the vnt turbo from the 2.0 litre, and injectors.
Then having another remap to accommodate the difference with the turbo. :-)

Before you go down this route make sure that
you have a clutch kit handy! The standard clutch is not
designed for the extra load you'll be putting through it.
The Older I get the Better I Was!  Cool

This is what I'm trying to get answers for.
If it can be done, and what will need to get it done.
