Front middle right if that makes sense!
Its down a bit too, its also black and has a large nut on top of it.
The 1.6hdi don't use a spin on filter either.

Hello chrisdt welcome to the forum it's on the right hand side under the turbo intake pipe as homeruk wrote there is large nut on top of a dome shaped filter cover if your doing it your self follow the correct way to do it engine up to temp there is a thread i think it's in the how to. :thumbsup:

Hello chrisdt, please read up on other threads about using the correct oil grade and filter in these hdi engines.
It is vitally important to help prevent turbo failure.
