undentified part

Hi I was hoping you can help me, I have no idea what this part is as it is not on my van (Currently duct taped up :whistle: ). do you know what it is? or where I could get a new replacement? and how essential is it?

I'll have a guess Warm air intake off the back of the radiator.

It is a plenum chamber, get one from a scrapyard, it is beneficial.

it is part of the air intake it quietens the engine down a lot get one from a scrapyard
