EGR valve - OBD errors

Hello

I check the obd errors on my car, and i got the next errors.

P0409 Electric EGR valve position copy signal : Valve sticking during the initialisation
P0401 Air system fault : Measured quantity of air higher than the setting
P1162 Position indicator signal of the EGR valve : Valve jammed during driving,
P0490 Electric EGR valve position copy signal : Positive loop gap, Position indicator signal of the EGR valve : Positive loop gap

Is there any other option instead of installing new EGR valve

Yes you can remap ecu with EGR off

Take it out clean it and hope for the best...

Yes i will do this also. But, is it possible, that this errors are related with some other problems, like fuel pressure sensor?

I have 1.6Hdi motor

Chances are a good clean will sort this and a check of its function when its off the car too will verify its operation.

Sounds like the valve is stuck partially open from those error codes.

Very straightforward to remove off the 1.6 too.

you can blank it off but it depend's which pump you have one will show eml light the other won't show the light or you can have a map to delete the egr no more problem's

Classic EGR faults, wouldn't expect any other issues.
