[Brakes] Brake Pads for Berlingo B9 1.6
#1
Hi,

Looking to change the brake pads for a 2008 1.6 HDI Berlingo (the newer B9 model).  Can any one confirm the correct  part (I think it is Eurocarparts 101545708).

Are there wear indicators on pads for the B9. Do I need any other tools (such as Torx bits) to change.

There two type's of brake pad's for the B9 one's with wear indicator's one's with out there are two way's to check look under the front of your berlingo to see if there is a wire fixed to the back of the pad's or go on line or ring them type in your reg or tell them it and they will tell the right one's

Hi, if your vehicle is the same as my mark 3 van, you will need a large male torx bit (It was a female torx bit on the mark 2 Berlingo van); and a torque wrench capable of tightening these caliper bolts to 100nm. You don't mention your mileage, but I found that I had to fit new disks (a really simple job) roughly every 120,000 miles. Any half decent car parts depot should be able to give you the correct brake pads, if you give them your registration number. BTW, I've found parts bought from a Citroen main dealer quite competitive with other parts suppliers price-wise, and, often cheaper!

Remember that you don't always need to change your discs when you changing your disc pads, therefore you don't need to remove the calliper carrier.
You need a 15mm and a 13mm combination spanner and some way of levering the pistons back
