hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice, the speedo doesn't work in my mk1 1.9d though the clock, fuel, and temp gauges are fine, there is not traditional cable so obviously electronic unfortunately. How do I know if mine (year 2000) has a bsi connector, and would this tell me if its the clock or the sensor that's faulty, if there isn't a bsi, then does anyone know the location of the speedo sensor? thanks.

Hi
Look at the r/hand drive shaft inner end for the speedo drive connection . If the driveshaft had been removed and if not carefully replaced the drive can get damaged.
Look at your fuse box under the steering wheel , If you mean a diagnostic plug  (BSI connector?) it will be there if fitted.  Not sure when first fitted to the Belingos (EDITED 2001 model onwards so yours may not have one.) but had to be fitted after 2003 (I  think !)

My Pug Partner is similar. Rev counter works, but no speedo.
Only just bought it, so haven't got as far as investigating it yet.
