speaking as a newbie,this might sound a bit naff to some of you but just wondered why some stars are gold,and others are grey ????

my ride is a berlingo forte 1.9d 2003 model in pukey blue

No idea either here, I guess there is still a lot of work to be done on this site as it cannot decide who I am still and trying different browsers I still see blank icons instead of smileys etc. If you click the thread rating at the top of messages it seems to increase the thread rating. More clicks = more Gold Stars?

The thread rating stars are gold where someone has rated the tread, and they are grey if it hasn't been rated.
