cutting out when braking
#1
Hi all, hope I've go this right.
I have a problem on my 2.0 hdi 52 plate berlingo. When I pull up to junction, as soon as I start braking, the revs drop slightly, but when I take my foot off the brakes, the engine cuts out.
Having changed the vacuum pump and servo, I found out that the problem seems to be electrical. The problem disappeared on day, but I found out on the MOT that the brake switch had come adrift. Now I've clicked it back in, the problems back. Has anyone experienced this problem before, or can anyone suggest where I can start looking? Many thanks in advance.

Hello peterb welcome to the forum i think the first thing to do is check the wiring around the switch also put a volt metre on it and then change the brake switch see how you go from there
