Radio Display
#1
Hi,

new to forum but already been a big help (think I know how the passenger foot well is getting wet now)
Anyway, the display for the radio is very very dim, is it easy to fix this, how does the unit come apart?

Cheers

Hi there welcome to the forum. To change the bulbs in the display is quite easy just get hold of the cover trim over the display and pull it up gently it is held down by 4 spring clips. just undo the screws holding the display in I think they are torx screws. You can unplug the wiring to get more access to the bulbs. To remove the bulbs they just turn 90 degrees. Have a search on the site there is a picture thread that explains it all.

I was about to ask the same question, my radio display suddenly went completely black last night and after a few minutes switching it off and on it lit up again all be it rather dimly on one side. Will maybe try opening it up tomorrow if I have time.
Thanks Tomcat3 for the solution and of course thanks to Blast for reading my mind, lol

I think they are w5w. Common lamp (bulbs are what grow in your garden) take one to your factors and they will match them

These are the bulbs you need http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vehicle-R509T-...43c560fd54
They only cost a few pence from your friendly motor factors.
