mileometer

ello everyone you all ok, i have an 03 lingo forte, the mileometer display is permanently light up even when the car is all locked up and not being used,is this normal for this model,??? just thought i would ask,looked through hand book,and couldnt find any reference for it.

I've never seen an odometer that remained lit after the ignition was switched off so I'd say no, that is something that needs sorting.

Aside from a code read or BSI reset, I'm afraid not.

well 3rensho i've sorted it out,could have kicked myself up the jacksie,couldn't stop laughing to be honest,when you switch the ignition off and lock the car up,the odometer stays lit for about 15 secs,and in that time i am already walking indoors,so naturally i thought it was staying on,DOH!then when i want to use the car,i blip it from the front door of the house,and the odometer is lit up before i get into the car,so i thought it stays on all the time,HOW STUPID CAN ONE GET EH,sorry guys,
