I've fitted an aftermarket stereo and I've noticed that the clock 'freezes'. The time will remain the same from when I switch the ignition on to when I switch it off.. Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a way to get the clock working?

You will need loom adapter kit off the bay of e or some where like that to make the steering wheel control's work i'm not sure which one for your radio

What you need to do is put the keys in the ignition and put down the drivers window. male sure the keys are in the off position and get out close the door. Open the bonnet and take the battery terminal off for 30secs. Put it back on and go to the drivers window reach in and turn the lights on and then turn on the key to the ignition. The dials will flicker. Then that will stop your clock from freezing.

This exact issue occurred with my van without doing anything with the stereo. The clock started freezing and the stereo stopped working one day out of the blue. Standard stereo and I never did anything with it.

The clock/stereo did go back to normal a couple of times and then remained frozen/not working. I checked all the fuses in the BSI & ECU by pulling them out and looking to see if the filament was in tact, which they where and the freezing issue was sorted.

However the stereo never started working again and I was wondering if any of you had any ideas. I'm guessing that there must be a fuse at the back of the stereo if I know how to remove it.

10 amph fuse at the back of the radio that was blown. Changed it and all was good.

That's what was in it (10 Amp) maybe somebody knows what should be in it??

I think it as low as 2 Amp maybe some one put a larger fuse as it's blown before ??

I don't use the radio much but a few days ago I went out in the car and noticed the clock was not moving and a lot of the segments in the display were not lit so it was not really readable. It was cold and damp at the time and it has not done it since so I am ignoring it.
