What is this and why is it beeping when I indicate right?

This thing, located next to the right rear light unit in the jack storage area, started beeping today, every time the right side indicator lights flash.

It hasn't happened before now, and the bulbs are all fine. Any ideas?

this is a bleeper for a tow bar it should bleed when either side blinker is used (when the tow board is connected)

It's getting an earth from somewhere on that side, it usually only earths from the trailer light plug. Disconnect it if you are not using it and it is annoying you but check the indicator still works after disconnection.
