what oil again

Ok i have searched on here for what oil you people are using and i have it down to 5w30 and 5w40 both fully synth, i have the 2003 2.0 hdi and temps don't usually go below 10c here but can hit up to 45c so any recommendations? Cheers.

I would suggest 5/30 in winter & 5/40 in summer.If you only do an annual change,go for 5/30.

Thanks for that diesel nut will go for the 5w30 any recommendations on make of oil.we can't get castrol magnatec over here.how about the quartz 9000 ?
