Replacement injectors / pump
#1
Hi All,

On the 8v 2.0HDi engine do replacement injectors need to be coded to the pcm / ecu ? Also is this the same for a replacement pump as well.

If this is the case what is a cost effective software for doing so?

I'm hoping these items are plug and play.

No they don't. Fit them. Drive away. Pumps and injectors usually available cheapish on eBay secondhand. Items from 110bhp 2.0 8v from a Xantia/406 can also be used as long as they are the same (I. E. Bosch or Siemens) as the one already fitted.

Sent from cold, windy place.
