Doing some work on a berlingo today and noticed the clutch pedal is bloody heavy....feels like not much going on in the first 3rd...then it's very stiff...functionality the clutch is ok although hard to judge biting point.
Are clutch cables suspect on this model? Or does it sound like a new clutch jobby?

I would check the cable 1st if only because it's the cheapest/easiest fix.If the cable is free the symptoms are that of a clutch that is well worn & the diaphragm fingers are standing at the wrong angle for easy operation. It's a bit like the spring clicky toys of our childhood. You press it & suddenly clicks with no real control. When checking the cable make sure the outer is not kinked or damaged.Good luck & let us know how you get on.
