I've got my Berlingo back! My son has had problems with his Rover 75, so he's had my Berlingo for 5 weeks, while I've had to use my Range Rover. Not a major problem, except that we have a twelve year old Border Collie, who cannot jump into the RR, but manages the Berlingo quite happily.
 So I no longer need to risk back injury lifting her up.

Strangely though, there is not a great deal of difference in running costs between the two, as the RR is on LPG @57ppl, and as the berlingo is a 1.8 petrol, costs in money terms are only a couple of quid a week apart.
And believe it or not, I prefer to drive the Range Rover!

Comparing a petrol Berlingo with an LPG Range Rover is not really fair.Diesel/diesel or petrol/petrol would be.Perhaps I'm mildly biased as I love my diesel Berlingo.

I've just got into the Berlingo after not driving it since Saturday as I've been using the Audi TT with all its leatheryness, climate control, 4WD and POWER!!

Thing is, I love my Berlingo more and it was like settling into my favourite armchair, though it did seem high up and massive!

Oh! Real Hardship then!! Almost a week with no Berlingo!
That's nuffink, mate! I had to spend Xmas and the New Year in New Zealand and went without
my Berlingo for 5 Weeks! To rub salt into the wound I was driving a Nissan Note 1.5 Auto    .
 A rotten job....touring in New Zealand but I felt compelled by the promise of summer and
Xmas din-din on the beach!
