08 1.6Hdi thermostat.

Is there any how to's for this? my van doesn't get up to temperature. And I cant see to find nothing on the good ole google. Thanks guys!

They cost £30 and are part of the plastic housing on the gearbox end of the cylinder head. Have you checked the water level first? No water = no heater. The heater matrix are notorious for leaking on the Berlingo.

My water levels are all fine. My temp gauge doesn't get higher then 70ish and when I put heaters on its warm/hotish air. But not what it should be. Only got the van yesterday! I don't even no what side the gearbox end is. Big Grin haha

Ho did you get on with this?

I think I need to do mine. Its taking ages to warm up and rarely gets up near 90. Just wondering how difficult it is to get to it, get it off, bleed all the air out afterwards etc.

Hi it was probably the easiest thermostat I've ever changed although I still dont get up to 90. Unless Im stuck in traffic . Bleeding it is also very simple considering you don't have any other problems.
