I would like to thank everyone one here for the support I got while surviving my time with our B'lingo. It was far from easy or straight-forward - the strange sound problem was sold with the car and I could never solve (best guess: clutch bearing) - but I did manage to fix a few things through your help:
- clutch cable
- fuel injectors (twice, once again started to leak at the end)
- changed the timing belt, alternator, steering pump etc.
all without too many issues. For helping me retain my sanity while living and flogging the Berlingo for almost four years & 100,000km I say thank you all!
Its replacement is a Hyundai i40cw with 230km, so I expect it to hold a bit better. I will not say "no more Citroen", because you never know, but I will not be here as much in the future. I wish you all the best of luck and many miles / kilometers with your Berlingos.
Take care, Charlie
