[Warning Light] ABS light and braking issues after new drive shaft, HELP PLEASE
#1
Hi my drive shaft bearing went and I have fitted a new drive shaft everything went ok until test driving and the ABS warning light came on with a little bit of strange breaking like skidding on ice.  I have found the the new driveshaft has got 29 teeth on the ABS ring and my old one has 49 window type ones. What can I do to rectify this? Every new one I have looked at, at numerous suppliers has the 29 teeth and the counter staff haven't been very helpful?

Thanx in advance for any info
If in doubt smash it to bits :woop:

I would suspect the teeth nos are critical & suggest trying a good supplier like GSF.It sounds as if your supplier knows SFA & doesn't care into the bargain.Good  luck.
