Both Brake Lights Not Working

I would appreciate some advice. MOT is fast approaching and knew I needed to change one of the bulbs on my brake lights. Then realized both brakes lights were not working. I changed both of the bulbs yesterday and the brake lights are still not working. All the other lights are working. Could a fuse of gone or is it a wiring issue? I have a berlingo van 2004.

Fuse, bad earth or possibly the switch.

Sorry for all the questions, if it is the fuse that has blown,would anything else of stopped working, or is the fuse just for the brake lights

I think fuse (10A F5?) is unique to brakelights assuming the engine bay fuse (50A F12?) hasn't gone, find the switch, short out the connector and see if lights come on - with ignition on!

Separate earths for each light so probably not an earth fault,

Thought I would report back. It was the switch that needed replacing. Thanks for the advice.
