Unclip mirror covers

Hi.

I would like to spray-paint my mirror covers white, like the rest of the car. I`ve tried to bend a bit, but afraid the whole cover will crack.
Is there anyone out there whos done this? I guess it is a quite simple move, but think it´s better to ask first...

It is simple.  First remove the glass mirror from the housing (pull off with fingers inserted on sides or pry gently with a plastic tool).  Then when you can look inside the mirror housing you'll see the clips you need to push up to remove the cover.

Forgot to thank you for this! The clips was kinda "tight", but I got it off after some struggling
