Because there are many models of Blingos there are many firmwares around. You would have to be
quite an expert to create a program that can handle all those firmwares. I am not saying it can't be done
I am saying such expert will not be doing it for fun, only for money, a lot of money...Aslo, you wolud have to
buy some hardware tools to flash the firmware to the chip. Some chips can be flashed only
if you remove them from the PCB.

With Lexia you can enable/disable some options. Like driver seat alarm, day lights runnig and so on...

If you would like to go beyond those Lexia options you have to change the firmware...

Is not just the Lexia software you need, you also need the interface cable as well.

Here is the explanation:

There are 2 version of firmware inside Lexia cable chip.

In version "B" serial number is black listed in Diagbox 7.xx and you can't install
version 7.xx and use it with "B" version of cable. You can install version Lexia 6.x (Diagbox is called only above version 7.x) and use it.

In version "C" serial number is NOT blacklisted and you can install latest Diagbox version 7.xx.

Also there is cracked version of Diagbox 7.32 that works with "B" version, but you can install only version Diagbox 7.32 !
And only version that is provided by that Chinese seller. Different Chinese seller has different Diagbox 7.32 !

Do you need Diagbox 7.XX ?

If you have car that is older, eg under 2008 , Lexia 6 is what you need. There is no benefit if you use new version of Diagbox 7.x

Also the price vary because there are 3 or 4 version of PCB inside cable. Cheaper PCB has some missing elements that are
needed in Diagbox 7.x . Also cheaper PCB works badly with Peugeot 307 and C5 models. All of the PCB version can come with
firmware "B" or "C". You can flash from "B" to "C" but is will cost you a lot.

No one can tell you how long "C" is going to work. Maybe as am writing this "C" is going to be blacklisted Sad

Best regards,
