dw8 cutting out

evening all can anybody help with this problem, my 1.9 dw8 started to intermittently tick over at 1200 revs and hold back now it cuts out and is a pig to start and is not drivable i have replaced the fuel and air filters this started after i replaced the clutch i can see no leads off any thoughts thanks smithy ps i may take it down to north london and leave it there let the chaves torch it .:censored:

Did you bleed cooling system after clutch change ?

High tick over could be thermostat knaffed, there is also a coolant temperature sensor located in thermostat housing for use in preheating and EGR control systems.

update. I removed cleaned and refitted all the pump connections and disconnected the battery and did the same to the ecu and it seems to have done the trick all runs ok now
