Hi from new berlingo L2 (to be camper!) owner

Hi All!

I have recently bought an ex-forestry commission '09 berlingo L2 (longer body) van. 1.6HDi 90. It is a lovely forest green, and has uprated suspension and other XTR like features specially done for the forestry commission, but is registered as an LX spec.

I chose a berlingo L2 as its the most economical car-like vehicle that gives over 6ft in the load space - just right for a bed! I was also really attracted by the 3 seats up front, as I will be doing without any rear seats in order to have a permanent camper set up.

I have already put in a small (280mm sq) roof light, which looks great, and blanked the EGR valve, after reading a lot about the pros and cons (no prob.s, runs great, no nasty lights on the display). I will post a full report on each of these in due course.

Hi Ben welcome to the forum sounds like you have got a great van there gets some pictures up on the forum when you get time. There was a few years ago a couple of members that had brought mk2 ex forestry commission vans and were really impressed with the spec.
