I'm in the market for a new or nearly new Berlingo XTR 115bhp and I've got the chance of a brand new un-registered car for £13000 on the road. It seems a really good deal to me and the dealer says he couldn't sell me a pre-registered car or ex-demo as cheaply? Just wondered if anyone agrees and how it compares to what you paid or what you'd expect to pay bearing in mind the new model (6 speed) is coming out sometime soon so I'm guessing this has a lot to do with the level of discount being offered. Cheers, Steve.

Well I haven't ordered it yet but I'm glad I haven't! It seemed a good price until I enquired (with a different broker) about the new model 120 6 speed model and they're offering them at £11413 plus extra for metallic! It sounds to good to be true but I've double checked with them and they've checked with the supplying dealer and they've confirmed the price correct. They want a £500 deposit and are quoting 10-12 weeks delivery. How can a higher spec and new model be offered for £1500 cheaper than an outgoing one that you'd of thought they want to shift???

Cannot find a definite date but this suggests July 2015 for the van

And suggests November for the car

Who knows?

It's definitely the new model and also not a van, it's quoted as 'Citroen Berlingo Multispace Diesel Estate 1.6 BlueHDi 120 XTR 5dr' and includes VAT, road tax, first registration and even mainland delivery if you don't want to collect it from the dealer yourself. It also states that 'all vehicles are supplied by UK main dealers and you pay the dealer on delivery of your car'. The broker is 'Drive The Deal' if anyone else is tempted and I was recommended them buy a friend who bought a new Audi and saved nearly £10K and said the deal and service was all very painless and straight forward.
