The 306 front end is the same the berlingo I'm led to believe mate. And if the 306 had the turbo diesel lump I'm pretty sure someone on here will have done the swap or be able to advise you on it. I've only been a member on her for a year or so but have found people's help and advice fantastic!! Good luck with whatever way you go with the van and welcome to the forum!

thanks for the reply mate mine is defo getting a xud in it how do people live with them every day being sooooooooooooo slow powered by the dw8? the drive to the mot test the other day was enough for me

any way i have some coil overs for it but couldn't get the rear bars out so now the plan is to buy my friends berlingo van with xud all ready in it and strip that down get the rear beam apart and recon it for lows at the moment its to high and to slow for me to use every day.

so far making it my sensible family wagon i've fitted 4 new tyres and alloys, track rod ends rear brake pipes and gave it a full service up-rated the speakers and head unit a little

looks like this at the mo

It's looking good, well done.I'm amazed at how well  Berlingos hold up against rust.

Agree. Mixture of a salt and a sand during winter does not cause a rust on a body and suspension parts.

the 306's problem is the inner arches are not painted so when the arch liners fall out its game on for the stones and grit then rust

i have to say guys the berlingo is working dam hard at the moment Smile and now i'm use to its slowness its not that bad
(i'm still going to xud it) i can now see why people have them Big Grin

That would give a whole new meaning to 'going for a burn up'. Big Grin
