Second question, transmission oil loss
#1
Hi again, my second question(s) on my new Berlingo 1.6 HDi: I have a transmission oil leak from the pivot pin of the shift mechanism on the 5-speed manual transmission:

Is this a common problem? Is it easy to fix? Should that bushing be flush with the bore, or should it be sticking out like it is now? It was nice and clean when we bought it, and since we have a long trip to England planned, I' like to fix it before we go. I'll be at the local dealer on Tuesday to pick up the necessary parts, so any help before they sell me too much would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Charlie

The problem is in a seal. Just replace it.

Just got back from the dealer. Between the housing and the bushing is a sleeve, which seems to be the culprit here. Costs a little over €1, so let's hope that the installation is easy too.

It tuns out that it wasn't a sleeve, but a cap. They must have knocked it off while washing the motor. Anyway, installed and no more leak, even after 5000km (summer vacation in Torquay and back home racks up mileage quickly!).
Thanks all, Charlie
