haynes manual

is it worth purchasing the haynes manual for a 2002 mk1 after years of having ford transits im new to the berlingo a transit if you could contain the rust worm you were ok engine was like the berlingo bomb proof

Could be worth having handy but most of the general maintenance + faults have been covered numerous times on here

I would say yes it's worth it. Especially 2nd hand on Ebay. It can help you know or see how things work without having to get the van in the air to inspect the design. Especially if you are doing a weekend job and you have limited time to sort something out.

+1. Believe it's number 4281. Always get one for my vehicles especially if you're going to "have a go" yourself.

I bought one for mines just to have in the glove box. Its always handy and they cost next to nothing now on ebay. I think I paid a fiver. Handy just to know where exactly all the screws are when removing covers etc. Also on the last car (golf) the wiring diagrams were ace for finding the faulty fuse, even the AA man was pleased when he just had to turn up with the fuse and I had diagnosed it in the waiting time, even if he did have to admit I was right (even if I am a girl lol).

Good luck, fingers crossed you wont need a manual for ages.
