Hello,I have a 2014 airdream ehdi stop start which needs a new battery?
When battery is changed does it need to be programmed ?
Or will it program itself after a couple of hours?
Thanks

You can but have you researched the price of a stop start battery! Remember your warranty is 3 years or 100k

On my last L2 Berlingo van the battery lasted four and a half years and covered 335,000 miles in daily use, Winter and Summer in that period. The problem in your case Steve is the urban use and all that stop start in town, mine was mainly motorway cruising.

Have you tried the new type of charger that regenerates the battery?

Don't waste too much time trying to get a new battery out of Citroen after 12 months, despite the implied warranty.
Mine went just after the first year and I got the old "Its a consumable item & not covered" speech.
They "kindly" offered to replace it for me, telling me it could be complicated & dangerous to DIY!
Well, I saved £60 by DIY and it was neither complicated nor dangerous!
I put mine down to just being a rubbish first battery, as the replacement is going strong after 2 years.
Now if you want a challenge, replace one in a 2001 Range Rover without reprogamming the sunroof, all 4 windows, door locks, 2 key fobs, radio and the engine immobiliser..... That taught me to temporarily connect a small 12V battery to the main battery connections before removing the old one and disconnecting after the new one is in place. That way nothing needs doing. So I now do it on all my battery swaps & they're done in a jiffy.
