Mystery tube hanging down from my engine
#1
Hi,

Here's my first post.

First berlingo for me, bought a month ago 1.9hdi 2005 model. Loving it so far

Had some coolant problems first of all, well it drained out but re-connected easily spotted small hose that hadcome apart from another. Still leaking a bit due to heat I think so going to stick a jubilee on it and hopefully that'll be that...

Now, I decided to check underneath the car in case another hose had popped out and low and behold there is a maybe 10 inch long  approx 1cm diamater hose hanging there. I can't for the life of me see where it has come dettached from and I don't have a Haynes yet.

Can someone please tell me what this is and what to do with it. Appreciate any help.

Tim.

Hi Gazahull,

Thanks for your reply

From my google research quite a few people saying that sort of thing - I kind of get the impression it is fine for it to just hang there, what are your thoughts?

Best,

TIm.

that't where its meant to be...........take care........on your fuel filter it may or it may not have a fuel water sensor fitted. they are not standard fitting but will still have a plastic water pipe fitted.............
