[Steering & Suspension] Suggestions re likely fault.

I recently replaced the discs and pads on my 2.0hdi. No issues with the brakes and there are no steering wobbles or shudders. Braking is smooth and predictable.

However, I have noticed a quite quiet clunk seemingly in the area of the front nearside suspension that is more noticeable when the suspension loads and unloads coming out of a bend and over bumps in the road.

Before I have a poke around, what is the most likely culprit? I was thinking suspension control arm - any other ideas?

well the first thing i would do is go over the work area thats be worked on
especially if there was no problem before this work was done.
i recently had new discs and pads and the car developed vibration above 60mph
turned out to be a wheel weight got dislodged during the repair .
Good luck in solving it.

Bottom ball joint? Make sure the pinch bolt is nipped up tight enough.
