Non start and wiring issues.

Hi all. Just bought a non running 2.0hdi '04

Just had a look through forum, and thanks to some of the wiring diagrams posted here, I now have a plan of where to start.

Problems are non start but cranking OK "ECU locked awaiting unlock singnal from BSI" (Imobiliser ecu's matched)
BSI reset makes no difference.
Also, nothing electrical forward of the windscreen working. Nothing from Com2000, no heater, headlights, wash/wipe, so I'm thinking of a CAN fault between BSI & engine ECU / engine fusebox (BSM)
Unfortunately my PP2000 leads seem to have gone wrong, so can't look too deeply at the mo til I sort out that problem

Ok. Had a couple of hours spare so had a look and got to the bottom of it.
Turns out it is the grey connector on the back of the comm 2000 unit had gone a bit *intermittant*. I can get it to start & run and all functions work if I move the wires around, so now off to get a new bit of loom from the local breakers.
