Yes you read it correct my V70 is powered by a puegoet 1.6 Tdi Automatic.

I consider it one of,if not the best diesels ever made.PSA have always made good diesels.This is from 30 years working on them incl many high mileage courier vans.It's also the main reason I bought my Berlingo.

It must be a good choice of engine if BMW and Volvo use them.
Only one but,but a very small but they use oil.

Keep on top of the oil & filter changes using quality oil. They do have a turbo failure issue if you stint on this.

I think you will find that the 1.6 HDi engine was jointly developed between Ford and PSA, so it is found in makes that Ford own/once owned like Volvo. Ford call it the "Duratorque" engine when fitted in their vehicles.
