I got a registered letter yesterday saying I need to take my new Berli to the dealer to fix a possible defect. It said that their could potentially be a problem with the way the seat belt for the right rear seat (I have a 2 front 3 rear arrangement) is fixed to the body. They said if they need to fix it it'd take about an hour and of course be free.

Bought mine March 2010 so guess its this generation [second] so what is differance between first generation and second generation. My vin numbers dont appear to be between the suggested numbers, so what changed in the build?
Any ideas folks?

Turns out it wasn't the mounting that was suspect but the inertial locking device on the belt. It was replaced and took 30 minutes.

I received one too for my 19 plate 6.1 1.5 although I was not in, postie left a card. I honestly thought I had a speeding ticket on the way.
I was so pleased when I collected the letter it was like Xmas had come early!
Seriously I’m waiting now for further advice from Citroen....

Mine came on Thursday by recorded delivery. I’m up for second service the end of next month so I’ll get the garage to do it then.

I think the online MOT history will tell you, also maybe the Citroen web site.
You should find it here
