Thanks, I had never bumped into this TSB.
My Berlingo is 2015, and since day one on buying it 4 years ago I noticed a mechanic clanking upon releasing the brake pedal. It did not sound critical, and I figured to deal with it later. At some point I looked at the linkage and nothing obvious was wrong which could have been amended by little tinkering. So I became ignoring it. But this thread refreshed my memory. French language forums confirms this happening on LHD cars too, so it cannot be the long linkage of the RHD cars.
I could not find the TSB B3FW011RQ0 contents, but apparently it is to replace the rigid pipes from master cylinder to ABS unit with hoses. This isolates the shocks of the ABS unit from the pedal mechanics. Sounds reasonable. The hose part no's was found to be 488887 & 488888, but I have not seen a picture of the actual items, nor checked my car which parts it would have.
I could consider replacing those with hoses, but not putting much effort in it.
