Highest mileage Berlingo.
#1
Good morning People.I like you had purchased my Berlingo due to one main overriding factor, its known to be robust and can do high mileages. This is just for fun but i would like to find the highest mileage Berlingo on an original engine.Ill start it off, mine is an " 02 " and has only 55k.Im sure just about all of you have more miles than this. Cool

Yes Jed, I bought a 1.6 HDi, 90hp, L2 in November 2010 and drove it on same day courier work until April 2015, and covered 335,000 miles. That's an awful lot of oil and filter changes I did at 12,500 mile intervals lol! The only major trouble I had was Turbo failure at 169,000 miles (£350) and both front springs and top bearings needed replacing at 303,000 miles (£200 for genuine parts). I had to replace both front ball joints at 295,000 miles to get it through an MOT Test. Needless to say, I've bought the same spec van again, and it's done 25,000 miles already since the beginning of May this year!

My old van is now owned by my Nephew who uses it mainly for commuting to work.

" Flippin Ecc " Thats a lot of miles. Its mileages like this that give the Berlingo such a reputation. Is there anybody out there that can beat that i wonder.
