Comms Unit for 2007 Multi space Desire

Hi I was wondering if anyone knew what comms unit is in these?

It has central locking, back wiper, no air con. Its a 1.6D Desire 75.

Had it diagnosed as comms problem but the garage can't source a second hand part. But will charge me £75 to fit my own, only they can't tell me which one I need unless I leave it with them again....

Cant help with identifying the unit sorry but there is a guy on here from up north that repairs comms units he may be your man. I cant remember his name but one of the other members may be of help, it could be this guy http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COMM-2000-PEUG...2a55df93df .

Thanks for that, there is probably no short cut to pulling it out and checking the part code and how many plugs etc.

Unless anyone else knows otherwise?

You could take the cowling off the steering column its only a few screws and have a look how many plugs and you may be able to see labels without removing the steering wheel.
