Hi everyone, Over the past few weeks iv stuck a 406 dturbo engine into my gutless dw8 mk2 Blingo.
To be honest I thought it would go straight in but there was a few things different with the block castings which slowed things down untill I decided what I was doing.
I made a gearbox mount and Im now using a 306 dturbo box although Im away to swap back to the 1.6 205 gti box for the crazy acceleration!
It runs 24psi of boost through 2.5" solid pipes and a front mount cooler.
My pas and alternator was going to be a pain so I ended having just the alternator running off the aux belt and I fitted a electric saxo pas pump instead.
My pump timing had been advanced and the fuel pump itself is off a 1.8 turbo.
It runs a xantia inlet which has been modified for better flow and the egr thrown away.
In the end I got it all built up and running only for it to go into eco-mode and I lost all my electrics as I didnt use the original berlingo flywheel the 1st time which meant I couldnt use the belingo crankshaft sensor which meant the van didnt know the engine was running hence it going into eco-mode.
After swapping the flywheel and using the original cs sensor i got my rev counter and electrics back.
Im currently looking into water injection

2003 Berlingo converted to run a modified xud9te.
Running 24psi of Boost.
2.5" solid pipework and Fmic.
Converted to electric power steering.
