new to berlingo

evening all , just bought a berlingo van 1.6 hdi 75bhp  year 2008 as i needed one for the landscaping / gardening i do 

seems like a good little van only 74000 miles on it and got it at a good price , it only came with 1 key the one where you gave to maually lock unlock the van did these come with remote central locking and it is just missing that key ?

surprised they dont have a trip computer or alarm on these

Your looking around 70 quid for a standard key that will start the car they have to clone the key you have due to the chip not sure how u go about linking a new fob to the car

The base vans only had manual locks and you can get a key cut and programmed from an auto locksmith or Timpsons for about 40/50 quid I think. You can put a central locking kit on it for about 24 quid, look up Hawk kits on ebay.

Hello djmyorks welcome to the forum i think you need to put the new key on your dash and with the old key turn the IGN on off ten time's so it pick's up the transponder code to programme the key .
There a new member called carkeycodes that can tell you for sure he is in introduction just below you send him a pm.  Smile

mind the same my ignition key and door key not matching and sometime central locking when is lock can not open again very frighten anysugestion
