I'm going to be fitting an alarm this evening. I'll need to connect to the central locking. I thought about using the button on the dashboard but thats unlikely to have a seperate lock and unlock pulse and its possible the alarm could get out of sync.
Does anyone know where the lock/unlock wires are and what colours they are please

Update
I fitted the alarm. Referring to the haynes manual, i managed to find the wires for a positive lock/unlock pulse and the indicators, etc. It doesn't want to work properly though and I'm sure it has something to do with the installation.
There's 2 connectors to the alram. One for power and one for everything else (door locks, door switches, handbrake, brake pedal, etc etc). If I remove the 'everything else' plug, then the alarm arms and disarms properly. With it connected, the alarm tries to arm but the indicators flicker instead of flashing, the doors don't lock and I can't get it to disarm again.
Confusing
