Fault code EGR

Hi. 

i have fault codes on my 1.6 HDI 75HP 2009

Fault P1459  Electric EGR valve position copy signal
Valve stuck open while driving  320 faults

Fault P490 Electric EGR valve position copy signal
Valve opening too small. 308 Faults

can't hear or feel anything wrong with the car when driving.

Any ideas where to start diagnostic?.
have tried the actuator test in LEXIA and i can hear the EGR making a click noise.

I think you'll have to take the EGR off and clean it as it's clogged up so it not opening up or closing properly have you thought of getting it deleted when it's fixed no more problem's with the EGR ??

It will likely need a new one, only decent quality ones work.
We used to get a failure rate of about 80% on the cheap ones. Due to the difficulty of fitting etc, it's best to go o.e.
I think we have done 15 in the last 3 months .
