Finished my service; all fluids and filters!
#1
Thanks all for the previous advise on home servicing. Just finished a full service on the van today! Anyone wanting any tips I can share. Also a lot of my info found on these forums so big thanks to everyone.

Completed the following:
- Oil and filter change. 4 litres oil, new sump plug and filter.
- Cleaned and re-oiled K&N air filter
- Fixed annoying rattling air pipework! Some screws and cable ties involved there!
- Cleaned out a tonne of leaves and crap from behind fan and radiator!
- Changed pollen filters
- Changed fuel filter
- Changed antifreeze and dot 4 (full flush on both)
- Replaced faulty servo on air recirculation that was getting stuck closed
- Fixed squeaky clutch slave arm
- Full engine bay clean
- Checked EGR and MAF and cleaned as had a few OBD pre warns on those. (all clear now)
- Replaced side lights with a newer LED (brighter and whiter)
- Replaced blown lamps on heater controller (very annoying to change!)
- Fitted a new sim card into my tracker
- 4 new tyres
- New aerial
- Refreshed some of the sign writing with new and updated some stickers
- Checked brakes, shocks, springs, full underbody check and a bit of a clean.

An in progress photo..

It sounds pretty comprehensive, what's the service interval on sticker replacement ? Wink
So where does this bit go then ?

I have no idea. It was my sign writing that faded so I replaced it!

that's the intercooler to the left of the fan...

I know a pollen filter is inside up near the pedals, don't know if our garage has changed it yet, but it took him a while to even see it..

I didn't need to remove the bumper. I had other stuff to do that needed it off; and it's easy to remove anyway
