flashing time and date

Hi. I am new here and thought someone might be able to help.
I just 8n stalled a new kenwood stereo in my 2011 berlingo. The stereo is operating fine however the date and time on the dash above the stereo keeps flashing and no longer shows the gas milage etc. 
The normal cycle when started still works.

Hello Vanimal  welcome to the forum you will need to bye an adapter off ebay or amazon i'm not sure which one to get it working some one will be along to help you shortly and tell you the right one or do a search on radio adapter's

Thanks. Had a look and all I could find was the adapter for the stalk on the steering wheel. Is that what I am after?

I have a kenwood in a 2010 pug partner.. From memory it has a harness kit and a steering wheel adaptation kit... All from brand, connects2 I think...
The centre display ,once you install the control adaptor , will be able to be adjusted again.....
